Recruitment Process Questions

The process varies, depending on the role and location, and typically includes several stages. A member of our People Development team may contact you in response to your application and conduct the first interview.

You may also be contacted by a manager at one of our residences for an interview. Additional interviews with other team leaders may be part of the final selection process.

Once you’ve applied for a job, you’ll be contacted by email or phone if you’re a good match. Please make sure the email address and mobile number you provide are accurate and are the ones you access regularly.

Once you have completed your online application, you’ll receive an acknowledgement email. Please note that only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted directly.

Amica has a long history of providing premium services to seniors in Canada. We were established in 1996, and since then have grown into Canada’s premium service provider for senior living.

In 2015, Baybridge Seniors Housing acquired Amica Mature Lifestyles and rebranded as Amica Senior Lifestyles.

Today we own and operate more than 30 private-pay retirement residences. Our residents enjoy a premium lifestyle with the option for care.

We continue to grow in select markets, with an emphasis in Ontario and British Columbia.


Our approach to flexible working varies depending on your role, location, and residence. Our residence team members work from our residences.  Our regional teams travel to various residences and our support office team has a hybrid work schedule.

We promote a business casual dress code in our support offices in Toronto and Vancouver. Some positions in our residences require a uniform, which will be provided.
